All nonresidents hunters must apply online at the ADFG store for a Emperor Goose permit and be drawn Febuary 15th in the yearly lottery style drawing to be valid to hunt an Emperor goose in Alaska. Non Resident hunters can apply online up to 6 times to have a chance at one of the 25 nonresident permits.
Resident hunters can apply over the counter and up to 1000 permits are issued yearly. During the 2017 application period 1293 applicants submitted permits and 25 were draw with a %2 success rate to hunt the fall of 2018. There are 4 zones to choose from to Hunt Emperor geese and the schedule and map listed below. We can hunt all 4 zones but operate most of our hunts in Zone 4 Unit 9 State land due to the later season in our area. If your hunt schedule needs to be adjusted for later dates we can hunt you in Zone 2 if need be in January.

It can vary outfitter to outfitter but on average a reputable experience outfitter will put a complete package together with lodging ,meals and fully guided and Outfitted hunt. 3 day hunts start around $ 1995 and a full 7 day trophy hunt will run $3900-$5000pp . As of now there are only 25 maximum Nonresident hunt permits issued yearly.
